I’m like most fans ,really excited and probably getting carried away by the nostalgia of the past.I admit that Mowbray wouldn’t have been my choice but I see lots of plus points as well as negatives.
On the plus side Mowbray is very much an improver of players and with the new owners wanting a younger and fresher team this will fit in well with Mowbray.I am also confident that players will want to come to us and Premier League clubs would see us as a Club where they loan good young players to us knowing with Tony’s reputation that they are in good hands.I’m not sure that we could say that happened under Corberan. The general feeling is that whatever happens is that Mowbray leaves you with a better squad than what you started with.
My worry is obviously that he has come back from serious illness and if it is too early for him. Also over the years that have passed I’ve looked at Mowbray as more of a developer of players than a results manager. At the end of the day unfortunately you get judged on consistency of winning enough games and my opinion is that a Mowbray team always gives the opposition chances. If that happens every game you will not get enough wins and as everyone knows fans are fickle, yes it’s ok now and the messiah has returned but just wait for the first two defeats and the overreaction.

Watched the rest of this interview, worth watching even thought it drags on.
Feel like he is dropping hints about becoming our DoF in the future there.
