I spent yesterday listening to a podcast with Sean Dyche(yes week off and too much time on my hands)but the guy is genuine and honest. He doesn’t shy away that he wants forward passing and if that’s long or short it doesn’t matter.I think he would actually fit in well with this group of players as he does like his 442 and wingers. He probably would be looking for a big brute of a centre forward in January though.
It won’t be a case if we want  Dyche,it will be a case of if he wants us,don’t forget he has been far more successful over the past few years than what we have.
I’m the same as someone said on another thread ,if he would fit in to the same vision as our new owners.

This one always gets me. People want attacking possession football, but also our defenders to lump it forward asap, which is the exact opposite.

Never understood it, another football fan weird quirk

FAO Brummie Roaders who absolutely nail Palmer for 'pissing about at the back' and then also nail him for hoofing it.

I'm all for trying to play it out, if the opponent isn't pressing you on your own 6 yard line. If they begin to press, then 'get rid' (Go long and play percentages).

I really don't understand why football teams have to be set up to play to a specific style, surely there's times and situations to keep the ball, and play possession, but then go direct and long, within the same game.

Gotta play how everyone else and the laptop man says.its the modern way.

I think we cause our own problems when the defender tries to keep tippy tapping it around our box, they don't seem to have any leeway in being allowed to get rid.

I can confidently confirm Igor Tudor has the best stats on FM out of the managers linked Big Grin

That's why he's my favourite!! Done some miles though that boy.

Loved football manager. Once nearly had a fist fight with my housemate when he signed the Brazilian unknown I was tracking when I went for a dump. Still not completely forgiven. Serious stuff.

Needs too big a squad. 1,000 men apparently. Over the hill anyway.

We had to meet the enemy a mile away
Thunder in the air and the skies turned grey
Assembling the knights and their swords were sharp
There was hope in our English hearts
