You are really sounding like an utter whining baba on this KKC and making yourself look a bit thick too. Put your dummy back in.

Simply we have no idea whatsoever why this has fallen through and the club did not leak it. Highly respected investigative journalists find stuff out as they have contacts and the wherewithal to find stuff that many others don't know. They don't sit around waiting for a call- their work is more like that of a detective. Percy is good at his job.

I'm sure the club would have rathered Percy not known about this. Comparing them to the Lai regime is just plain ignorant.

Rather to any balanced fan, it's simply disappointing as we had hoped the uncertainty was over and many of us had emotionally invested and accepted it was likely to be Wicky.

There's nothing remotely embarrassing as the club had announced nothing.

It's probably set us back a week or so, but that's the way it goes.

So who leaked it?

Christ knows, but in all probability not someone from the club. It could be an agent related to Wicky a friend of one of the coaches who might come along. Sources are kept tight, but blaming the club is absurd and your reaction childish.

Every betting site and journo has been calling it. Even Brunt acknowledged in weekend interviews that Saturday was likely his last game.

Go figure

Go figure!

With every tap on your keyboard, which is probably on fire now, you are sounding more and more irrational and really really stupid.

Brunt acknowledged it was 'likely' his last game. When did the word likely become definitely?

Betting sites are driven by money and speculation. I hope you didn't empty your pension pot and put it on at 1/8 telling Mrs KKC we'll be millionaires by Monday.

All of us old enough to have some experience in life have seen issues like this before. We've already got over it.

At no time did the club announce that it was Wicky.  Many deals with potential
managers fall down at the negotiation stage so that the eventual appointee was never the first choice.

Percy has his links with the club, the story should have never have been signed off. As per usual with KKC the delivery is awful, but we shouldn't be leaking stories like this.

I said like it is. Sorry if that offends any wokies out there

You've said it as you see it. Not as it is.

Exactly this. Who is to say that Wicky was the club's preferred choice in terms of fit? He could have been the first choice because he was seen as more cost efficient, the next manager they approach could have been their preferred target but a more expensive one.

You really can't say unless you're privy to the full facts.

In any case. First, second, 10th choice. The new manager will not care, as long as they're paid on time and have the support of the board.

Appears you've misunderstood what I meant, apologies. This has played out very publicly, I don't imagine the guy coming in will be in the slightest bit bothered, but WE the fans know and it reflects very poorly on our new owners and Andrew Nestor in particular.

It has gone from a thorough, diligent exercise to, well, not that.

Understanding is Albion agreed package with Wicky on coaching staff, but one coach then turned down his offer while the other was unable to get a visa. #wba

The issue appears to be that Raphael Wicky was unable to assemble the backroom staff he wanted.

This was not because of any financial concerns from Albion’s end. I understand #WBA were fully behind him and the 2 staff he wanted but it’s not worked out, so the search moves on.

Looks like it was beyond our control, maybe they didnt want to relocate?

New owners should have forced them to, same shite apparently.

Pardon?  What an absurd post.

Do you mean to say that there are people living in the Alps, in front of warm fires, breathing fresh air, eating fondue and mulled wine, having a little ski now and again, who don't fancy coming to West Mids? Whatever the wages?  I dont believe it.

The problem was more likely that they saw the wages on offer in the UK....

It's a shame this issue wasn't discovered earlier in the process. I hope this isn't going to be a problem with other overseas coaches and their teams that we go for

You're the one who has people piling in taken the piss on your stance and you've somehow now tried to connect our inability to appoint a manager to some kind of wokism.

Keep it up KKC you're providing great entertainment.

Sounds to me like Sticky Wicky has assumed his nominated coaches would follow him without actually asking them.
For the club, part of the due diligence would be to affirm such things and, when they did, it failed, so deal off. That's good practice surely?
