The managerial shortlist
FFS this is embarrassing.

Surely you discuss this at the first interview online.

Brunt is the Loans Manager, which doesn't involve coaching, whilst Myhill coaches the youth keepers. I can't imagine that Wicky would want to want to employ his own people in those roles and it's hard to imagine that everything would collapse over an insistence on retaining Abella, if that's what Albion want to happen.

2 coaches left with Carlos, so you wouldn't have thought Wicky+2 would be that much of a stumbling block to either side.

Is it embarrassing? Bit of an overreaction.

Yes it is. Different owners, same old shite.

Could be out of our control like visa issues for the staff. Wicky would be OK but possibly his assistants only qualify for the EU?

Really can't see us paying Dyche money

The latter would be my guess. I don't see any reason to doubt the club statement.
Shame. Lepkowski on the Liquidator thought it was a done deal.

He was also very complimentary about the recruitment process too. Oh well. It's never done until it's done.

Wicks has been unemployed for a while, there could be a reason for that. In other words, it may not be entirely the club's fault.

What's so embarrassing about interviewing a candidate, and whether his opinion, or ours, deciding it's not the right fit. Both parties move on. I really don't see the issue.

I'd like a manager appointed asap, but I also want a manager that is the right fit for us, wants to be here, and is 100% committed. If that takes time, so be it.

At least we’re not finding ourselves in another Pepe Mel situation with a foreign coach being forced to work with what’s already in place.

This appointment has been leaked to high heaven.

It is completely embarrassing.

Yeah, if not embarrassing the leaking of the story to Percy on Friday and subsequent back tracking is extremely sloppy.
