Talksport local journalist saying Mowbray was asked about the job but wasn't ready for it.
Clearly a very thorough process hence the time its taken - lets just hope its a successful one!

Ok I will bite, it’s been 3 days since Percy said Wicky was our preferred choice, but still no white smoke over the Hawthorns.
Hope all is ok and it will be announced soon. The waiting is killing me.

I think we all feel the same to differing degrees, but it's been the weekend and he's still 1/6. Never nice a long managerial wait and it's 3 weeks tomorrow.

Im a little surprised he wasn’t announced ahead of the Bournemouth game, or that neither he, nor any other candidates seemed to be in the stand.
If we have heard nothing by end of tomorrow it may be fair to assume there’s not been full agreement between Wicky and us, or a new candidate has suddenly become availabl3.
