To be fair journalism is all about trying to get information.

In fairness, the person telling him is just as much to blame if the club boot them out. 

If someone is posting whatever you’ve been told to keep quiet on instagram and claiming he has an inside source, you stop telling him stuff

They put a load of NDAs in place in the summer as a result of the above but it’s a waste of time as it’s not from an employee or anyone closely involved in that way.

As for Bartley, he was right that we were prepared to pay off half his salary if another club would take him on and match the other half. He made himself look like a tit by sharing that when no taker had been found. That was just a necessity of our financial circumstances. As usual though, all it shows is that people will believe what they want, which may or may not be correct.
