If he were called Juan Eustacio this place would be a Kleenex frenzy. The irony. You said Corberan's football was tedious. I personally think Eustace would be a steady appointment but I can see many on here turning on him in 6 weeks when they see us not going all Ossie Ardiles.
At times it was tedious. 3 wins in 16 is fucking tedious. Are you going to pretend it was total football from start to finish?
I also never called for his head. I just called it how it was at the time. He also got plenty of praise from me when it was deserved but you conveniently forget that. Just pointing out Eustace is not known for his free flowing football, and neither is having a European or South American name a guarantee. It seems an Albion manager has to play free flowing football, reduce the wage bill and sign only wonderkids as well as the club being promotion contenders. In other words, Warning, beware, your team may go down as well as up.
Believe it or not I’d have much preferred Corberan to stay and eventually find that balance. We all know he could, just as much as we know he didn’t always get it right. He didn’t have all of the answers, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t learning. The Bristol City game in particular was an incredibly assured and mature managerial display, and an ostensible sign that he was developing as we were.
It’s a shame it was the last example of it we were to see. But we are where we are.

Agree, although I'd say the difference was simply we scored twice 1st 45 and Bristol needed to stop having the entire side behind the ball. In other games this didn't happen and we didn't have the guile (or skill) to break down the defences. We never looked like losing those games though and with the memory of the previous manager still fresh, I was grateful. As you say, we are where we are. The new guy won't have a magic wand so we need someone that can work with this squad however he juggles it.

Absolute bollocks, like most of the stuff he posts not related to player medicals.
He’s correct that there has been a conversation. Saying he has turned us down isn’t really an accurate summary.

At odds on how you pronounce “Gilet” and we couldn’t move forwards from there.

More likely conversation was:
"We're talking to all managers out of work, if you're interested we're looking for a coach that improves players without needing to spend fortunes, defensively sound and works as part of a coaching and recruitment team."
"Will I get millions in transfer funds and control over transfers?"
"No."
"Not interested."

Would be an immediate loss of faith in Nestor if he's entertained Martin, luckily I give your info about the same credence as Doods.

If I had your recent ITK record, I think I’d probably keep my head down and thoughts to myself. Fair play for keeping plodding on though.
There will be others on here that know the above to be true, similar to the Schumacher situation.
Getting tetchy about that is pretty purile

I've never claimed to be ITK you melt. Everything I put on here is my opinion, shame you don't admit the same tbh.
