A denier of science and any evidence he does not like.
Physically and morally repulsive.

Therefore, giving the evidence all due consideration - no.

This.

Precisely and whilst a couple of keyboard warriors like that tool Zak lap it up and laugh at us for feeling upset that the strongly about him, it says much about what kind of people they are themselves.

If it’s a wind up and that’s the sense of humour he is a proper weird one. Simply though many do think like that and Twitter is full of them. That’s why Trump is back in power.

Back to this Trump voters are thick argument.

Clearly not all but I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar graphic to this one which compares education level to Brexit vote. With Trump voters in the blue.

Maybe, just maybe, that’s because the “less educated” have poorer jobs, earn less, live in the poorer areas, and are economically hit hardest by, say, inflation?!

Given the messages coming from polling are that immigration and economics are the leading policies which impacted their vote….

Do I think Trump will help them? No. But he gives a message they relate to, clearly.

But too many people find it easier to label them thick etc. instead of trying to understand where these people are coming from, why they may feel let down by the democrats, etc etc.

They are thick. But they still get a vote. Online leftists love slinging insults and strutting off like they've won (then wondering why they lost...). The only thing they love more is going after other left wing figures who don't tick every one of their inane boxes with far more vitriol than they ever have with anyone on the right.

Trump voters are thick (or rich). They're probably at least mildly racist. You still have to appeal to them. Whether you want to or not.

For many, including me tbh, it's unfathomable. How could anyone possibly vote for a rapist. For a pathological liar. For a cognitively impaired, morbidly obese, shitwitted cunt with absolutely no redeeming features. But they do. If you're going to set yourself up in opposition to him it's your job to understand them. It's why the vast majority of people aren't suited to politics.

Agreed BB

Though how people can think that Eton toffs, Sunak/Trump/Musk billionaires can ever relate to the lives that they lead, or have their interests at heart bewilders me. That isn't to do with educational acheivement. Desperation maybe?

Wild sweeping statements that 70 million people are thick, and probably mildly racist?

Trump has just won a record republican black vote, huge gains in Hispanic vote, and they’re racist too? Or just the white ones?

In terms of his lies, scandal etc, people don’t give a toss about that if they think he’ll increase their standard of living and/or the democrats won’t. Policy over personality.

Do I think he’ll help their standard of living? No. But I don’t know. But THEY feel the democrats won’t, clearly.

The education stats speak for themselves as posted above. And yes 70 million people can be thick. Most people are thick. Think of how thick the average person is then acknowledge that 4 billion people are thicker than that.

Also, the most racist people I know are 2/3 generation immigrants. It's not just a white pastime

My point is, you can acknowledge their thickness and rail that their idiot opinion gets to affect your life but the pragmatic approach is to move past this and appeal to them anyway which the left is absurdly bad at
