A house through time: Two cities at war
Exceptional! Turns out that it’s one the best WWII documentaries that I’ve watched. A real human documentary that is so much more impactful than the normal war documentaries.

Alien: Romulus - It takes place between Alien and Aliens. I found it quite enjoyable to be honest, but as ever it opens up more questions than the answers that it does provide (to kind clarify a few things between Alien and Aliens), so more to come I would imagine from the franchise in the coming years. I'm not certain proper hardcore / uber geek, Alien fans will make of it. There are still several, several, several questions and open ended plot lines - which the franchise could/should have explored without the need for this film. Unfortunately, Ridley Scott wanted it (the aforementioned plot clarification between Alien and Aliens) so it got made. Worth a watch if you are into Sci-Fi sort of things - but you may want wait until it arrives on Sky Movies or the like.

Tulsa King - Rocky meets The Sopranos meets Rambo. On Paramount.
Sylvester Stallone as a Mafia Boss sent to Tulsa Oklahoma to set up a new operation after doing 25 years in jail rather than rat on his boss. It tries to be yee-haa folksy and funny interspersed with mob style violence to give the script and story line some mob authenticity. It's OK if you have nothing better to watch but it is a bit far-fetched. Everyone loves a Mafia boss as a neighbour and mate after all. Bosch. On Prime Very good detective series in my opinion. From the Michael Connolly books who also wrote the Lincoln Lawyer which is also back for a third series. The main character is Harry Bosch - ex special forces and a follow-the-evidence detective in LA. The characters are good with a good script and they develop over the series. Some of the plot lines get a bit thin after five series but pretty good overall. Slow Horses on Apple+ Season 4. Just brilliant. Favourite quote from Jackson Lamb in the last series " Bringing you up to speed is about as much use a explaining Norway to a dog"

Been down a bit of a Matt Perry rabbit hole. Watched Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip in about 3 sittings. Genuinely good/great show, I'm amazed it was cancelled after 1 superb season.
Perry plays head writer of an SNL type show and excels. Probably the best compliment is that you don't see or think 'Chandler' at any point in the 22 episodes.

Tried that DI Ray last night, worra loads of shyte! Fake Brummie accents, Brummie place names, but then made up hospitals and police. Then massive plot holes.
