Wot I am watching now

Brassic is great

I recently watched series 1 of The Strain - a vampire show from 2014 created by Guillermo Del Toro. First series was great, something different from the usual lore, well paced and highly watchable cast. The second series has made one of the most bizarre re-casting decisions I've ever seen changing the whole character and making the show genuinely unwatchable.

I found series 2 of CFA got better as it went on.

Lee is a character most on here should identify with.

Dark - so I'm now on series 2, and to be quite frank, it's pretty mind bending. 300 times mind bending of 3 Body Problem would be about right. For anyone that has watched Dark, and trying to apply a modicum of logical time travel per the story and characters etc, and things occurring in the past, present, future, but am I right in thinking that it is impossible for Jonas to actually exist now - even if got propelled to the future... I may need help from the interweb to understand this point.

Watched Dark a couple of years back. One of the best TV series ever, in my opinion.

I like David Mitchell. If anyone is a reader on here I'd recommend his book 'Unruly'. Fantastic read. It's also available on Spotify as an audiobook which he narrates himself.

Finished up miniseries Sweetpea over the last couple of days. Decent little yarn, Purnell is again excellent in the lead role after her outing in Fallout.

My ongoing Walking Dead catch up has stalled since going on holiday, so will be back to that next. Also looking forward to The Day of The Jackal which premieres next month.

Enjoyed that. Light hearted and didn't take itself too seriously.
