Wot I am watching now

It's pure fan fiction now and not likely to attract new viewers but I love it so hey ho. The Daryl spin off is next up before the end of Fear (which in the end has turned out to be a decent show after losing its stars and having to reboot). Then the much anticipated (by me at least) Rick and Michonne epilogue series.

Streaming wise I've not touched the latest series of The Boys yet, nor the new Star Wars show. Also believe Cobra Kai is out now too. Plenty to keep me busy TV wise!!

Daryl spin off took it to new lows of ridiculousness for me...

I only watched one episode of the ones who live and had to stop, it was just utter utter stupidness.

Dead City was the best of the spin offs, by far, and I thought that was silly.

Just caught up with Douglas is Cancelled (not a TWD doing anything FF Big Grin), thought that was good.

Oh if you haven't watched Gen V, bit late I know, but ypu probably ought to.

Superb season but brutal to leave us all in that state for however many months.

His eponymous computer game wrecked so many keyboards…

Just finished the Boys myself. Watched the whole four series over the last six weeks. It’s utterly ridiculous but also very enjoyable.

Avoiding The Boys posts as I can't watch it yet.

Started Those About To Die, might be ok, might go up its own arse... Mrs has given up after 1 episode

Watched this. Best sports documentary ive ever see. I agree, he doesn't handle things well and id guess that abrasive personality was because he didnt know how to express himself any other way. But the beauty of the doc was it's overall look into his character. With little to no parental guidance and few role models, Thompson threw himself into becoming the best athlete in the world. He adapted whatever character was necessary for him to be competitive. I remember cringing at many of his interviews but overall, it was simply a shell he wore. Great watch.

Brilliant doc, honest and genuine. Makes no apologies for his actions back in the day, although he does show some remorse for things that may have upset others and, almost, accepts he was a bit of a dick. As you say though, it was all born from his pure, unadulterated, commitment to being the best. He was brutal in his approach and I can think of a few of our sports folk who had the talent but were lacking one thing and I think this doc shows what that one thing was.

Loved him back in the day and this has just endeared me more. A true competitor who was literally the best of the best.

Been watching Tehran on Apple TV, now on Ep. 3 of Season 2. We're finding it quite good and interesting, thought provoking regarding Mossad vs Revolutionary Guard, and showing that agents are completely fallible - with the lengths to go through. Glenn Close is season 2, it took me a whole episode to work out it was her! Big Grin

Season 3 has been completed and ready to roll out, allegedly, however, they have decided not to release it due to the Gaza situation, this is since May this year BTW.
