I know he's only young but Gelhardt has a career scoring record of 1 in 10. Not one to get too excited about.

Good player is Gelhardt. More in the Maja mould. Somebody who has a good touch, can pass, links play well and has an all round game.

Not the quickest from memory, but would offer another option than BTA/Dike in Majas absence.

Yup.
I wanted us to take the punt on him when Wigan were skint but that would have been outside of our transfer policy. 
Played well for Sunderland, as Lurker says, pulls goals out of other players, and CC will have worked with him closely under Bielsa

That is a very misleading statistic as a lot of his games have been as a substitute and he has only come on for a few minutes .

Wouldn’t be surprised as he had a big signing on fee which gets paid with his wages and he’s not normally in the first 11.

With Phillips and Diangana unavailable and Wallace not fully fit we didn't have a great deal of other options for that left wing position so I can see why he was picked and he did a very solid job. 

Along with Kelly, I'd have thought Reach would be one we'd be looking to move on given the money he's on and that he's only ever been a fringe player here.
