Concurrence 1 - 1 Utter Nonsense

If you care to check again, you will see Prag agreed with alot of my posts on here, bar one.

Did you understand Prag’s post?  I know it will have been beyond most on here.

Most of it passes over my head, I'll be honest. It was just that one post where he made you look a bit of a tit that stuck out, that's all. I might have been unfair on my scoring.

I’m always happy to be corrected, as I am writing financial posts on a level people will grasp.

Why you feel the need to continue to try and ridicule my posts I don’t understand.

Maybe he finds you condescending and obnoxious. With posts like “beyond most on here”, you could perhaps see his point?

I don't know about anyone else but I'm quite comfortable admitting that a lot of the financial jargon on this thread is way, way over my head  Big Grin .

Excuse my lack of knowledge on this whole thing. Are the ten days not up now from the Percy article, can we expect to hear something imminently about a group been given exclusivity.

Not at all. Fido clearly has a problem with me, hence his continual ridicule of my posts at every opportunity.

When I read Prag’s post I immediately thought that most people on here wouldn’t understand what he wrote. That’s not knocking anyone on here, it’s simply down to most people not having a financial background. Hence I will intentionally try to write financial posts on here in a way that everyone will understand, with examples that they can relate to.

Fairy nuff.

I can’t speak for Fido though, I ignore most the petty squabbling that goes on nowadays so wouldn’t have taken much notice.

All these financial problems are directly the fault of Lai.
We should always be a buying / selling club, remembering most championship clubs lose £25m a season we are no different. But we don't have an owner to support us, just a bunch of thieves.
We have not sold players when their value has increased for years. Bar Pereira (which was a suspect sale) and Dara who was more of a forced sale
All in all we have been in mess since the day we were sold.
We have to accept players coming and going to balance the books is normal.
Investment in good management and scouting in our situation has to be the priority.

This was the problem for 3 years before Lai and his 999 investors come along. They just kept the status quo, then tipped their grubby mitts in the pot when the world got tough.

I struggle to get too mad. I would have probably done the same if I owned a business I know nothing about, have no feelings for, or allegiance too.

Sooner they are away from the club the better, let's just hope we get good 'ens next time.

Those 2 (underpriced) sales are an example of what is wrong with our club. They are a symptom but not the cause. I don't think Lai intended to plunder the coffers. He was simply sold a dud. JP did nothing pro-active in the years before the sale, he simply tried to keep the value of the club as high as he could without further investment. Lai was advised by Peace to bring in the incompetent Williams and his mate. Probably told Pulis does not get anyone relegated, ever. Then Lai watched as Pulis burned through the cash on the likes of Greg and Burke. Our new owners are a disaster for a club of our size but they are not the entire problem. We have been drifting aimlessly for a good few years.

I'm inclined to agree with this. The money wasted on just those two could have been to much better use. Hopefully we'll be able to look back on this decade of decline from a better standpoint soon.
