If teams come in for our players they can go not one player is untouchable....we are potless cant pay wages with fresh air .
We shall see.
Regardless of our financial position, if a good offer comes in for one of our players, we should be considering it. Historically we’ve held onto players too long and that’s part of the mess we now find ourselves in. We shouldn’t be afraid of selling players.
I’m confident we won’t see a mass exodus of players for peanuts, but we need to get the wagebill down and we need to continue to re cycle the squad.

and generate income from selling players unless we are promoted. Some people on here keep forgetting / don’t understand / don’t want to accept the implications of FFP.

Difficult to be wrong in relation to rules when they’re publically available.

Genuine question: Given that none of us know transfer fees, wages paid or (?) turnover... what is the basis for people saying we're fucked under FFP? Has Car Park Mark said something?

When I asked that the other day, it ended up seeming like we *might* be fucked in a few years... as the previous 2 Accounts periods showed a profit, but we all expect the upcoming one to show a loss (think it's £39m over 3 rolling years... and we're about £5m up for this current 3 years)...so it shouldn't be an immediate thing. I think there was some confusion over the lower leagues having wages factored in (and that that might come to the Chump)...

There's going to be a couple of daft looking fiuckers when we don't have a firesale in January. Financial and ITK reputations in tatters.

https://www.efl.com/governance/regulations It’s not about the rules it’s about how they apply to our situation and that is pure conjecture so I’ll
wait and see if that’s ok, I heard many an expert opinion of what would happen in the summer that proved to be wide of the mark.

You don’t need to know the finer details. The MSD loans are to cover operational costs which tells you all you need to know. Our current expenditure exceeds our current income, which equates to losses. The MSD loans will themselves increase our losses due to the interest charges.

Rules are rules. Ask Reading and Everton.
