There is a (understandably) a huge over emphasis on what people have interpreted from the notion of importance of exclusivity being granted in this case.

Ashame they can't come in  and just splash the cash, FFP is one of the 1st things the need to address I believe. If we go up this season then great if not I'm all for the group to do it as a gradual project as long as they have the club at heart and not a vanity project

I think given the size of club we are it would be far more prudent to follow the Brentford model and invest in the infrastructure of the club, youth development, scouting, data analysis, succession plans rather than just chucking money at things indiscriminately. That said promotion this season would accelerate the possibility of progress of the club immeasurably obviously.

It's said that they have the plan for both eventualities and how that investment goes in will adjust accordingly. The belief is that if we did manage promotion this season we wont be left flapping about in terms of having a proper go at consolidation

But you're right, if we stay down to some degree we have to accept the slow and steady road.

Sounds very much Capt that these are serious players and have done their homework on the club and position we are in and know whats needed to successfully move the club forward. If thats correct lets hope and pray there are no 11th hour fugg ups.
