Wim Doomed!

there ya go Smile

There's a saying that most things in life you worry about never happen. As the doom-mongers insisted a few months ago it was written in the stars we'd be the biggest club in Britain to go out of business and those who didn't agree had our heads in the sand, this came to mind.

This is not to downplay it was a worrying time, but a new buyer was always the likely scenario.

Of course, we could still turn to dust and the hawthorns become a warehouse selling pork scratchings, but it seems more unlikely by the day.

I’m not sure if you are referring to this, but I operate my life by it.

From a former Prime Minister - Arthur Balfour.

Nothing matters very much.
And few things matter at all.

Nothing really matters, anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me

I see Cat Deeley is hosting This Morning next week, seems a bit coincidental that one of our super fans is back over here during these buy out times? Better face than Barry Bannon!

I can't be arsed to read all this but from a cursory glance it looks like we are getting taken over either by an NFL Quarterback or by far-right, Trump-loathing nut job Steve Bannon. The first option could be fun but the second option suggests we'll likely get relegated whilst simultaneously declaring war on Cuba.
