Oh well, the OP isn't as bad as whoever it was who claimed Big Dave needed speech therapy after we lost to Bolton at home on the opening day.

It's going to be a long, tough season and patience is required.

The opening poster is maybe a bit harsh but I fully see where he / she is coming from.

Plus, this "mad 60 seconds cost us" - have people conveniently forgotten the young kid Leonard missing two one on ones?

Corberan needs to wise up pretty soon.

Just up doing the night feeds as I have my sister's 2 bin lids and they are both under 2, for my sins.

Thought I would treat myself to the highlights.

Yes, the OP was clumsily worded, but I completely stand by the sentiment, and if anything I am more fuming with the incompetence of the line up and game management this morning.

I’ve not seen any of the game but as soon as the lad checked the team news and said “he’s playing Chalobah and Kipré” I did wonder how many we’d ship. The weird thing is that when he came in we had that great run but when something wasn’t working he always seemed the make the right switch at the right time but for a while some of the team selections have been puzzling (Swift wide left for example never seemed to work). He says the right things and seems a decent bloke but we have not been good for a while now.

1 win in 11 away game, says it all, carries on with that dreadful away record. He will be gone soon.

Think it's 3 wins in last 11 away games Stoke, Blackpool and Luton plus draw against Cardiff

The OP along with some other critical post match comments on here, are made even more surprising, given on the prediction thread, only a handful had us down to win.

A ridiculous over-reaction but it’s all too common on this board.

It’s a long 46-match season and the transfer window is still open for another 3 weeks.

There are at least 8 or 9 other clubs who can now match our reduced resources. We have no divine right to be winning every game in this league. We were in the relegation zone last October and just missed the play-offs.

Just be patient, allow CC the time to get his squad settled. We know he’s an excellent manager/coach at this level but we aren’t one of the dominant big boys these days with parachute money.

I was miffed by the line up yesterday but I think the OP is way off. I aslo hate stats that are carried over from last season. Yes our away form didn't look good but there were countless injury issues that CC had to deal with in our run in. It became a joke at times.

Fresh season and a fresh start. A summer thats seen Carlos have to sell his best centre half. With another 4 centre halfs on the books I am not surprised that he chose to bring in a striker as we have zero cover there and the season was about to kick off. I am sure Carlos wants better defenders.

Other than our 2 minutes of comedy defending we did more than enough to take a point from that game which would have been about the right result. We had at least 1 stonewall penalty not given and played some really good stuff by all accounts. I've read Blackburn fans saying they "got away with it" yesterday.

This season was always going to be tough. We have another 4 weeks of the window to go and its going to be bumpy. Lets not start kicking Carlos after 1 game and a 2 minute brainfart from the defenders. He is a quality manager.
