Isn't that a bit of a myth. The MSD loan auditors will make sure of that

The money from ticket sales will go to paying off the loan that Lai took out to trouser for himself, whilst deflating the liability which increases his sale price.

Yes. However, some will spout whatever suits their preconceived agenda. Why let facts get in the way of a good yarn?

The loan has already been written off in the accounts.

The loan was a debtor in the books and therefore an asset, not a liability.  Having written the loan off, the value of the club has decreased.

Thanks.  TBF, I could have probably worked that out (without the book) if I'd have been arsed to read a set of accounts that I have no influence over whatsoever.

They have to charge the home  and away fans the same price for similar view.
Hence we Newcastle

I'm sure there is a way round this, the club could open part of the devide in the Smethwick and charge home supporters £45 for those seats, job done.

Nope, as the BRE view is the same.

When we played Newcastle, that was a CAT A.  Not because they were a top team, but due them always selling their allocation.

Our tickets in the BRE and SME were the same price as what NU fans paid.

What the club can and have done is offer STH and invite a friend for, say £10 or £15.

But they can’t charge non Albion STH a different price in the SME to the BRE
