Forgot to update about Arctic Monkeys at Swansea - great show, really enjoyed it. Alex Turner now has laryngitis though, so I dunno if their Glasto headliner slot is in flux?

Went to see The 1975 (supported by half a dozen similar acts) yesterday at Finsbury Park. They were bloody excellent TBF.

Great day out, and weather spot-on for the type of event it was.

How were the bar queues? Was there for Pulp on Saturday night and trying to get a pint was an absolute clusterfuck.

I got my daughter some of those little pouches you can fill with vodka etc. so at least they could get cokes and then drop them in.

Dreadful in the main arena, piece of piss in VIP (which was to be expected). I wasn’t drinking anyway but there was a good assortment of food all-told.

I think it was only £20 extra, which is worth it for a beanbag to slouch on (and toilets that don’t get clogged by midday with millennial puke).

Don’t wanna live like Common People, I guess. Big Grin
