Was tempted by rancid but it moved venues as brixton is still closed and then never bothered.
In the form of his life.

I saw Rancid in 2002 (I think) and they were really good then.

I've got quite a broad taste in music, so I'd be interested in your opinion on Red Velvet, once you've seen them Bromley. They are pretty much viewed as Kpop royalty.

Blur was absolutely sensational in Wolvo last night.

It was the reopening of the Civic wasn't it? Always was a great venue. Did you stay locally?

Yeah it was the reopening, it’s a great venue. Saw Radiohead and New Order amongst others there in the past.

Gif the train back to Brum after the gig and stayed out with mates for a few before going back to my mum’s place. Head was a little thick this morning.

Just back from seeing James at the Civic, good couple of hours recapturing my youth.

Was it all standing, or did they tell you to sit down?

Saw their orchestral show at the Royal Albert Hall last month and it was excellent.

Have added Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age to the slate towards the end of the year too.

Oh and a second Pulp date at Hammersmith Apollo.

Saw The Mars Volta at the Barrowlands on Friday - they played amazingly but I fear they overpriced the gig at £45 meaning the venue didn't feel full and the crowd/atmosphere was subsequently a bit flat which was a shame. That's the 4th time I've seen them and the previous 3 were all mental.

Barrowlands is a fantastic venue btw if you ever get the chance to go.

Rancid were brilliant, last night. Proper raucous punk rock.

Red Velvet were very nice to look at (I have a thing for Oriental girls), and were not too bad musically. All on backing tracks, obviously but they can sing without having to use autotune.

July's gigs are all work: Def Leppard and Motley Crue followed a week later by The Weekend, then 2 nights of Blur all at Wembley, then an Indian singer called Sid Sruman at Wembley Arena. Then finishing off with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Spurs stadium,
