It's The Ashes (again)
What the hell has happened with the Dukes ball the last two years?

Tomorrow highly unlikely to be a washout. Should get 3-4 hours play minimum in the afternoon.

We're throwing this away. The sensible tactic now would be to bat time and wait for the rain to save us. Another example of how we've gotten into a strong position, but haven't been ruthless enough to go for the Australian throat.

Bairstow to come in, smash 100 off 50 balls. While Stokes hits a quick 50. And we'll declare.

I’d still back England to win this right now.

It's nicely poised.

Yes, I'm frustrated at England gung ho approach costing us wickets and a strong position, but it's a great Test match to watch.

I can't call it. I can see us collapsing whilst needlessly throwing wickets away, or batting Australia out the game with a barrage of boundaries from Bairstow and Stokes. Wonderful sport.

What a fantastic game of cricket!

Like boxing, styles make contests. And our hung ho, 'rather lose trying to win, than play for the draw' style and their sheer brilliance is matching up nicely.

Need a good 75 now from this partnership, hopefully quick sharp too.

Early declaration in the 1st innings looking ill advised

Australia review a not out. It's not out. England review an out. It's not out. It's superb. Steve Smith has got a right cob on. The piggy looking cheating tea pot.

Steve Smith is a nice bloke off the pitch and a very good batsman. But, why when fielding does he turn into a total tosser just like Kohli !

Something needs to be done about over rates 11.3 overs per hour even with a spinner is not good enough when they should be at 15 overs per hour.

Not having a proper keeper has cost us significantly more than the declaration.
