Yeah, definitely for games of that time. It's a great remake, would love them to do it in RE engine like the others as well.

If anyone plays it, can you let me know if it's basically the same gameplay loop as the previous one?

Played the first hour or so last night and early indications are it’s pretty similar to the last one. Which is no bad thing for me as I loved it.

It's a no from me then, I got bored of the repetition quickly. my nephew loved it and bummed off it, I got it on the PS+ collection thing, and wasn't amazed. Looked pretty. Then again a break in playing it saw me forget all the controls and what I was supposed to be doing so that didn't help!"

It’s not a particularly challenging or deep game in terms of combat but I think it’s more the storytelling and settings that make it great.

Yeah I remember them being a ballache.

In other news I won 40 quid off a £5 on the football last night which I loaded straight on to my PSN Turkish account and preordered the RE4 remake and had enough left over for the Village expansion DLC. Another game I can't wait for that I don't have to worry about buying. Ordered the Callisto Protocol for £28 the other day too.

Hugely successful spell is the PS Turkey Black Friday sale. Picked up a year's PS+ top level sub, Gran Turismo 7, Ghostwire Tokyo and Cult of the Lamb for under 70 quid all in.
