Tbf he has a axe to grind, but what he says is true IMHO.
Getting Boro into the play off's maybe via a points deduction for other sides might just be a coincidence?
The Dingles did exactly the same and it's almost as though promotion is a get out of jail free card.
Consistently inconsistent that's the EFL bosses, QPR got a reported £42 million fine, Blues got a 9 pt deduction.
Derby, Sheff Wed, Seals & Leeds have manipulated the figures and look to have escaped with a slap?

Villa could walk through a wall of shit and come out clean,  so what's the point?

Actually Wolves didn’t breach the rules. They were very clever by paying huge promotion bonuses which only became payable as a resulting of getting promoted, which are excluded from the calculations.

I cannot see any possible way that Villa can pass the current 3-year test, nor Wednesday. Leeds I suspect are ok.

Weren't Leeds and Forest carrying forward some profits that they spent this year?

Good. If the 23 others are harmonious about it and work in unison it could have an impact.

If you actually stop and look what Villa have done it's ridiculous. They gambled last season to get up and it failed. They should have gone to the wall but new owners have come in and they are doing it again!

If there is any justice they won't get promoted but you just know those slippery cnuts will jam it!

Seems like they'll be allowed to keep doing it until it eventually comes off for them. They keep putting big money on black, meanwhile, clubs like ours play by the FFP rules, putting on £10 chips at a time. Hopefully it will catch up with them, but I've no confidence in the EFL that it will.

If them slippery smelly seals manage to win promotion through the play offs will they be getting a get out of jail free card, like the Dingles? Demotion to the 1st Division would be more like it IMFO

The only real hope is the EFL get their shit in gear and hand a full embargo to them for the summer which the PL honours... no way that side, minus the loanees would even get close to survival... however there's little or no chance of that happening.

The league should step in to stop them and Derby competing in the playoffs if they reach them, but again, absolutely no chance of that happening either.
