Yeah, play something else... it gets no better and the deaths start to feel cheap. I got to the third boss, but the slog to get back to it everytime became an utter chore. Also since you'll end up with different guns to other players tips are hard to give... I know there are some beasts of guns, but losing them and then not getting them for loads of runs really does get tired.

Well 28 deaths later and still haven't beaten the 1st boss. I thought the soulsborn games were frustrating but this is something else lol.

I've beat Elden Ring, Demons Souls remake, Bloodborne, but Returnal nah...you just can't really learn it, too much blind luck involved.

If anyone is shopping for a PS5 console they are back in stock online at Game.
Be quick though as they won't be there long.

The baby creeped the fuck out of me!

Only but I didn’t enjoy was the Chris section which suddenly turned the game into COD.

Just got to here on my second playthrough, it certainly changed it up a bit and I was happy it was only as long (or as short) as it was. Reckon a third playthrough is on the cards just to try and do a run with infinite magnum. Need to get a few more challenges done to up my CP points, missing 3 fuggin goats which I've tried to find without looking up the locations online until now.

There’s something really satisfying about unlocking all the super weapons and just waltzing through the game blowing the shit out of anything that moves.

Yup. Got the dragoon and the SYG 12 shotgun both fully maxed, just need CP points to get infinite ammo for the shotgun as well.

Just noticed PS5s are becoming available at a reasonable price again.

Kids are 11 and 9, they’ve got switches and iPads and everything. I’m thinking of buying the three of us a PS5 as a joint main present, is that a good gift or will it merk my elder daughter? Think I may have to pad it out as a gift a bit to keep her sweet. #topdadding

Love my PS5, but am at the stage where I've nothing to play, or rather nothing I've got is keeping me playing.

Any console choice will ultimately come down to the games, if there's nowt for your kids then it'll be a bad choice, unless you claim it for yourself....

The whole industry feels in a bit of a rut right now. Think they’re still managing the fallout from crunch culture and studios being shut during the pandemic and everyone being forced to WFH, which is leading to games taking longer to get out.

I’m enjoying going through my backlog until GOW:R comes out next month. Finally got round to finishing Half Life 2 over the weekend.

Since I game so infrequently (work, kids, o/h with health issues occupies most of my time, the rest I’m just knackered or on here), I don’t think selection is going to be a problem. Cheers both.

Games industry seems to be very remake-focussed right now. Which is great, but like the music industry and covers it smacks of lack of fresh ideas. All that being said, can’t wait for next GTA.

FF7 remake done and the Yuffie DLC too. I absolutely loved the game but the ending of both the main game and the DLC make me concerned the second part is going to drop a bollock.

Started Yakuza like a dragon decent enough so far.
