When you think of the sheer amount of wrong choices we have made it’s a wonder we are still in with a decent chance of going up!

Indeed, what we should have done was spunk £60m and finish in the bottom half like Stoke, or hand out long term unsustainable contracts to over the hill players who we've had to firesell off for huge losses like Swansea?

FFS - we're 4th in the league, and until last weekend had a shot at automatic promotion, despite a large transfer surplus, significant cuts to our wage bill and integrating youth players into the team.

We offered an inexperienced manager the opportunity to improve his back room staff, only for him to refuse, which resulted in a sacking a few weeks later when results continued to worsen, and then saw his replacement take 9 points from 9... Yes we've been caught out that our first, second and third choice managers appear to want to wait until the summer, but surely we'd have taken more of a panning had we been found to be approaching other managers whilst Moore was still in position?

If we make an appointment tomorrow (like you claimed a couple of hours ago!!!), even if we lose tonight 9 points from 5 games is still a better points to game ratio than Moore was overseeing when he was removed, it's all worked out fine.

Turn TalkShite off.... if you think we're a laughing stock you're letting the idiots win.

Great post. Talksport hate us, and once we've appointed someone tomorrow like the ITK, then there's the plan.

We'd have been absolutely panned approaching other managers while Moore was in charge, I agree.

We aren’t a national laughing stock. Very few people outside of the West Midlands actually give a shit.

Then why do Villa sing 'f*** the Albion' every game? Last weekend at Sheff W, they were singing, 'West Bromwich Albion, we're coming for you'...

Wolves sing about us every game despite having their best season in 800 years.

Absolutely spot on. We aren't even one of the biggest laughing stocks in the Champ.

As much as a lack of a plan is worrying, it's only really on our minds; not the rest of the UK. I will concede that if we don't go up despite sacking Moore then there will be more than just the West Midlands laughing at us, however even then it will be temporary and not universal.
