The Athletic reporting that we’re willing to listen to offers for Robinson, Zohore, Reach and Kipre
Not sure how reliable that is tbh, Bruce has already said Adam Reach will be an important player and that we aren’t looking for strikers because we have Zohore and Dike in that position. I have no doubt that we’ll try and get rid of Kipre. Robinson is hit and miss but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the club replace him with someone worse or, more worryingly, not replace him if he goes. We don’t need a first 11 we need a squad

Although it has been widely reported lately we’re definitely in the market for another striker. Hence the links with Gayle and Archer. I’m in the minority that rates Robinson. A good player at this level that thrived in a creative team under Bilic. Also did okay in the PL and was consistent under Big Sam. No denying his form has dropped off but I can’t help put that down to our squad dramatically dying with creativity overall. His goals and assists record wasn’t too bad last season either. The abuse he gets you think he’s not scored or assisted for years. Some players have it worse than others for the amount of criticism they get despite their contributions. It was Grant but then it shifted to Robinson. We seem to have hardly any players that can contribute goals and assists. Selling our most productive attacking players in terms of goals and assists IMO would be shooting ourselves in the foot; and I’ve seen calls for both Robinson and Grant to be sold.

Zohore will go surely. Gayle with Dike would be boss. Diangana is a really difficult one, just not sure about him anymore and where he fits in?

I fear we are stuck with Zohore or else stuck with the bulk of his wages. Kipre clearly isn't rated by Bruce. Reach, for me, is a very useful squad player (not a bloody midfielder- Bruce). Robinson can go for me. He can be a very good player but appears to have no fight or bottle. We should get offers for him as his record isn't bad at this level, take the money I say.

I think Kipre will surely be on his way. I like him from what I saw last season but Brice clearly isn't a fan. We'll be able to recoup what we paid for him so will bring so money in to aid out transfer budget. I can only see Zohore leaving if we subsidise his wages as part of a loan move. No-one is going to pay a fee for him. He has been a disastrous signing. Dowling must shoulder the blame for bringing him in on a dreadfully expensive contract. |
