Where indeed! I think I have been consistent, there was nothing normal or acceptable to me about a 1k approx deaths per week. Still face marsks are muzzles and other libertarian bullshit is more important.

One big problem is the isolating as a close contact and the length of time that they need to isolate if they test positive. If the rules can be changed so that two or even three days of negative tests are required then they can return to work then the problem would be alleviated to a degree.

This has been floated about a few times now, seems logical to me.

I appreciate there is a lag between infection and hospitalisations, but all the health care data is heading towards early Oct levels, and number of new cases seems to be stabilising.

I'm hoping they have cried wolf here.

They reckon 7 - 12 days between symptoms and hospitalisation if its needed. The peak of the cases appears to have been about 5 days ago but numbers spiked about 8 days ago so I would have expected to see more activity in hospitalisations by now. Since Friday hospitalisations have risen by 581 and London accounts for 370 of those, it does look like there is a slight increase in each region but only very small in most (max around 10%) in all but London.

Next few days should inform us more.
