Don't understand what happened with Wilson. Integral in Derby's good stuff in the middle of the park yet doesn't seem to have done anything since. I'd imagine there's still a player in there.

Agree he has quality but since Derby he seems to have gone backwards. He Did chuff all at Bournemouth but I notice he got 7 goals and 11 assists for Cardiff last season in 37 games which is non to shabby. Not sure if he played central or wide?

He played wide for Cardiff (or at I’m assuming he did as they keep calling him a winger). They were hopeful of trying to get him back but there are a whole list of clubs interested in him. Benfica are being suggested as current favourite for his signature.

First half of their relegation season Wilson was impressive… think he got 6-7 goals for B’mouth.

Liverpool didn’t want to loan him out, but I think Burnley were the only ones interested in a permanent deal for him and he rejected the move. In the end he had to go to Cardiff to get games.

Wouldn’t be against a move for him to replace Pereira. There’s a decent player in him, and probably just needs a change of scenery and a bit of consistency.
