At fault for all 3, admittedly 2nd and 3rd assisted by Daws and Brunty. But Jesus how can he keep his place week in week out?
Team marks to follow.

I think Johnstone is an easy target if honest. There were plenty worse than him today.
Bond will hopefully stake a claim Weds night.

It makes you realize how good Foster ,McAuley and Evans were, don't it.When you see how powder puff we are at the back now.
I cringe when I see the ball knocked back to Johnstone ,he looks completely lost with this tippy-tappy nonsense

He should have done better for the 2nd. It was Brunt's error for the 3rd though.

His fault for the first definitely as it summed a poor start to the game (yet again).
However, need to see the other two again as they seemed more down to poor outfield play. Looks like he will not be that dominant keeper we became accustomed to with Foster.

Johnstones shot stopping is a weakness IMO.

Yes Brunt was at fault - but if Johnstone had dealt with the cross it wouldn't have got that far. Time to start Bond - unless he is no better. He certainly played a part in all three, but so did others. |
