Other highlights - 3-1 v Arse, 4-2 West Ham both 2016/17.

Good shouts.

There were enjoyable games, when it felt like the team had been left of the leash, but then I just recall the frustration of reverting back to type for the next few games. Unfortunately the good days are almost forgotten, as they are swamped by the bad ones. There were too many occasions where I just sat there bored and apathetic.

Just ahead of 3-1 Arsenal, 3-0 Chelsea and the 1-0 at Man U.

Don’t let the facts get in the way B66.

Re-record not fade away..

I could say exactly the same about his most fervent critics.

One that will always stick in my mind, was the Man Utd 0 - 1 in the 15/16 season. I was prawn sandwiching.

We had 8 defensive players in the starting 11! The Myhill save from Van Persie, the Olsson deflected goal, reached the 40 point mark, 20% possession!

Several Baggies hammered drunk, me included in Knights Lounge, lots of miserable looking toff Utd fans. Great day!

There's not that many to chose from really.

Foster needed hanging that week.

Reportedly down to the senior players having a word, but his whole approach changed before the Lester game in 16/17. We were v good for 4 months before then churning out the same turgid crap. He should of gone summer of 2017

*Summer 16!

I do wonder if TP will ever look back on his career and think “what could have been” if he’d just been a little bolder and had a little more trust in his players.

There is no doubt he’s a talented coach. He can organise a team as well as anyone else, can handle the media and also seems to be capable of not only motivating players but convincing decent players to join him which is more than half the battle, but his staunch refusal to make the slightest of tweaks to his defensive mentality, and his determination to revert to defence at all costs after the first negative result, yet persistence with it when results continue to fail is just baffling.

As much as I detest the man, I’ll happily admit he did well for 18 months, and I think half of the anger is  frustration that we really could have been so much better had he just had a little more faith, confidence and ambition in games.

Pigeon you seem to think I care what you think. You could always state how biased BT Sports is again, that was interesting.
