Slav is certainly putting the pressure on Dowling et al.
Krov looks to be just a matter of time, however if Gallagher hits the ground running I could see Dowling arguing that 'well Slav, Krov wasn't a 1st choice player for a good part of the season so now we've got you Gallagher do you need him, where will he play'?

If I remember correctly we heard these kind of murmurings from Slav before the start of last season too. I personally think it's all a charade to give the fans and media something to get worked up about.
