I'm pretty sure Dowling said our targets hadn't been revealed. If Toney's gone to Brentford it's because we weren't that arsed about signing him.

Let's see how we look by the end of the summer

They seem to even be a secret from Dowling and Slav! 

The season kicks off in less than 2 weeks and our side is far weaker than the one we were relegated with.  Let’s hope a couple of the dominos fall soon because at the moment we are without doubt the weakest side in the PL.

Indeed but we climbed the ladder and got some stability financially.  I expect us to be relegated - too much to address and probably too little money/time.  If we pull out some wonder signings that would be very welcome but let's keep perspective.

I don’t think anyone expects us to survive Hudds. We have the weakest of the 3 sides going up, and have the least amount of money. If we survive Slav has pulled off a minor miracle...

It would take a Benitez or Hodgson to pull it out the bag. Or Bielsa as Leeds will be super fit and drilled. Not convinced Bilic tactically offers much. Add that to the weakest squad, the poor points haul after Christmas....

I'm sure Dowling and Slav know exactly what's going on.

I wish fans would get, they have no reason to say anything before player is signed, and with our resources we will not let stuff leak to the media.

On paper we play two “top 6” teams in our opening 12.

You never know if we can get maybe 8 points from our opening 4. It could give us a bounce. All I’m saying is we need to have picked up majority of points before NYD.
