What IF I gave it to a poor worker at the services who passed it onto someone who passed away. Politics doesn't come into it, what Cummings did is indefensible, selfish and pathetic. He was also seen going for a jolly 30 miles away from his parents house with the lockdown enforced, that's not confining yourself in lockdown is it? As I said, his wife has family in London and they surely have friends in the immediate area who could have done shopping or other odd jobs for them without the need to travel 260 miles North.

Politics has nothing to do with this, Cummings was selfish and acted like a twat, end of. Frankly I'm disgusted at people politicising kids as an excuse for reckless behaviour.

You do know the castle story is aload of bollocks  .....its gone from I saw him tonit looked like him now it could have been .....

Not just the peasants... the government scientists as well. Seriously anyone defending this government has zero integrity.

If it were bollocks the government would have denied it as they did with the repeat trip, neither Shapps nor Johnson have done that.

Only one person melting here trying to defend the indefensible

You haven’t had much to say about Cummings not even needing the childcare they are bullshitting about, or even the fact that he could have turned to local family in London. He took a jolly for his misuses birthday but he doesn’t have to justify it because he knows mugs like you will defend him.  Big Grin

must admit im amazed hes made it through the day still in his job.

boris has picked the wrong horse this time.

this wont go away and could end very badly for boris who is looking less and less prime ministerial the longer he is in the job.

I lived through the Thatcher years and despised her but he has outdone her tonight.
I really could not believe what I was hearing.

He thinks he can do as he likes.

Very worrying times.

I hope the Mirror journalists leave no stones unturned and nail the cunt. Mortally wounding the clown in number 10 at the same time.

I have no idea how some of you can.possibly defend the actions of this sociopath when people have not been able to attend family funerals or hold the hand of a dying loved one.
This goes so much deeper than party politics.
It is about what sort of people we want running this country.

"The police will no longer be able to enforce lock down," states an article by Evans in today's *Telegraph,* continuing "Because the actions of Dominic Cummings have completely undermined their authority with the public." That's how one man's act individual becomes a social menace.

He should be sacked along with Kinnock and Tahir Ali - I'm sure all those without an agenda won't be justifying the behaviour of the Labour MP's in the same way that some are attempting to justify the actions of a Tory adviser. Strange though that I can't find the posts from certain posters criticising the Labour MP's - must be my age
