Or do we only do criticism? Is it possible that only 75k are requesting tests on a daily basis? As you said earlier, it's an arbitrary figure. All well and good having g capacity for 100k or even 200k a day, but if the demand for tests is less... A bit like these Nightingale hospitals that have barely been used.

There are so many people who need testing that they could test 200k a day. My better half has been told she can have a test but when she went on the app it said she didn't meet some criterion. They should just be testing as many as they can regardless

I got mine done on thursday and got the results back on Saturday.

A friend of mine that works in a care home where 12 residents have died waited over a week for her test result so they needed to test her again.
She received a positive test result yesterday but they couldn't tell her which test it was for. Deathly chaos.

Three weeks ago, in my mother home, a gentleman showed symptoms on Monday evening. The whole home, residents and staff, were tested on the Thursday and given the results on the following Sunday. Nine confirmed cases. No deaths!
I find it hard to believe the wildly varying outcomes. In testing and virus. |
