A few football songs came from this musical, and two prominent ones in the Black Country.

Not bad for Lee Marvin & Clint Eastwood who couldn't sing.

We're on our way............

I thought Clint Eastwood was good in his pomp. Haven't seen too much Lee Marvin.

We're on our way, to the Premier League, we're on our way...erggllle berglle garbbab, we're on our way, to the Premier League, we're on our way, how we going to get there, I don't care, ergale hgage banbejbrte gggaarrr

Or something?! Wink

I hate any presumptive chant (like the Top of the league, which whilst factual at the point in time, seems to coincide with bad things happening!)

To be fair, thought Eastwood was good in a way, he wasn`t a great actor, but always looked okay in films that suited his look / style. I have a DVD of Where Eagles Dare, in the bonus scenes bit, Richard Burton said Eastwood reminded him of Gary Cooper. Always thought the first Dirty Harry films were okay.
