At some point, in May/June the Labour Party will have to face up to the fact they are toast with Starmer and this Sunak-lite tribute act.
Once again I am here to remind you that the last time a Labour party had a leader and a manifesto centred around the points in your post they were defeated in three separate elections by a batshit mental Tory party. This is not what this country wants.
Ted, they didn’t want Corbyn and Momentum or the huge baggage they brought with them. Many of the policies were popular, for example a wealth tax currently has 75% support in the latest poll. The fact you still seem to think Corbyn was an asset rather than a hindrance is why we ended up with a fugging awful Tory party.
The fact is Labour didn’t win the last election the Tories scored own goal after own goal whilst pissing off most of the country in the way to handing Labour victory. The idea that people voted for watered down Conservative policies at the last election and that they saw that as genuine ‘change’ is wide of the mark!
The "baggage" was overblown by those most at threat from Corbyn's policies. No politician in this country will get away with advocating the policies of the 2015-2019 Labour Party without being torn to shreds by a good proportion of the media. Even the BBC had a graphic of him in a Cossack hat, they were a moment away from calling him 'Comrade'. As a society we seem incapable of making the link that those who protest the loudest also happen to be the ones who stand to 'lose' (use that term very lightly) the most also. Polanski will suffer a very similar fate if the Greens ever succeed at becoming a serious political party.

Genuine question
No but you simply dont listen to normal everyday voters .
You didnt about brexit then the political elite tried everything to water it down so its crap .
You called the tories all racists etc and they got in .
Once again you are doing the same for reform you simply dont get it that you trying to call every day joe on the street racists and gammon and flag shaggers just because they dont like what the government are doing especially on immigration.....so carry on doing what you are doing because you are going to lose again because you think you are above the everyday bloke on the street .
It was a question about what you think will happen if they get in, not about a need for a long personal assault. Just trying to understand if you think it will have the desired effect. That was all.
I have no idea what you mean when you say “you will lose again”
What will I lose?

I’ve genuinely no idea what that sentence means but was trying to have a conversation about if you think Reform can make the man on the street happy or not.
What do you think? Can they?

I agree. And somewhat unbelievably, I’m finding myself seeing Badenoch as the least worst of an appalling set of leaders. Which I would never have believed until recently. But still not enough to vote for her party.
Would you be more likely to vote if it was a different system where every vote counted?
