At some point, in May/June the Labour Party will have to face up to the fact they are toast with Starmer and this Sunak-lite tribute act.

Once again I am here to remind you that the last time a Labour party had a leader and a manifesto centred around the points in your post they were defeated in three separate elections by a batshit mental Tory party. This is not what this country wants.

Ted, they didn’t want Corbyn and Momentum or the huge baggage they brought with them. Many of the policies were popular, for example a wealth tax currently has 75% support in the latest poll. The fact you still seem to think Corbyn was an asset rather than a hindrance is why we ended up with a fugging awful Tory party.

The fact is Labour didn’t win the last election the Tories scored own goal after own goal whilst pissing off most of the country in the way to handing Labour victory. The idea that people voted for watered down Conservative policies at the last election and that they saw that as genuine ‘change’ is wide of the mark!

Middle-aged, Centrists are literally sleep walking to political defeat. This isn’t 1997 and more of the same offered by Labour under Starmer as what was offered under Sunak shows how out of touch many are. Carry on pretending it’ll all be ok, carry on underestimating the rise of the Greens, Plaid and Reform, it’ll bite you massively on the arse, and at best we will end up with a hung parliament.

For "immigration" you can read "racism" really. No other conclusion can reasonably be drawn about those who support policies which include deporting people who've legally been here for years.
You have summed up nicely why Reform are growing.  Not everyone worried about immigration is a swivel eyed racist.  Yes, there are plenty of racists amongst the support, you see and hear that more and more but calling everyone a racist that has concerns is a big reason why we ended up with Brexit.

I stick by my opinion that anyone who supports any policy whereby people who've lived legally in this country for a long time should be deported is a racist. The shameful popularity of Reform has encouraged those who would previously have joked about racism and/or said "I'm not a racist but..." to be greatly emboldened, falling yet again for Reform's lies and exaggerated rhetoric, just like they did with Brexit.

There is a small, yet significant minority who have been radicalised online into increasing amounts of racism. What else can say about a cancer charity getting racist abuse:

No but you simply dont listen to normal everyday voters .
You didnt about brexit then the political elite tried everything to water it down so its crap .

You called the tories all racists etc and they got in .

Once again you are doing the same for reform you simply dont get it that you trying to call every day joe on the street racists and gammon and flag shaggers just because they dont like what the government are doing especially on immigration.....so carry on doing what you are doing because you are going to lose again because you think you are above the everyday bloke on the street .
