O'Leary signed for Shewsbury on 5/7/2019 and Eric left for Chelsea on 23/7/2019. As it was the close season, I doubt that they even saw each other.

He played 100 games in the two seasons prior to this one for BC, including every league game, and they finished 11th and 6th so he has good, recent pedigree in this league.

Actually what I said about them not seeing each other won't be correct, as there would have been a couple of pre-season games during the overlap, but nothing that could have given Eric a lasting impression I wouldn't have thought.
