I wasn't sad when he left as he'd been looking for an out for a while.  Good coach yes, he needs to develop an attacking element to his game, but regardless that's no use if they don't want to be at the club.

It worked for both parties at the time, that time has moved on.

Any of the bottom end PL should have his number on Speed dial alongside Dwight Gayle's!  He'd be an ideal replacement for Marco Silva as he seems to be wavering about committing to Fulham.  To me, that's his level in the game right now.

The first line is the truth. Trigger was being readied anyway before CC left.

Yes men are the order of the day and CC is not that.

Never got bored with CC.

Don't get bored watching an organised, well drilled team execute their game plan.

Tbf, he could have been great, if he'd only let the handbrake off a bit ...

Think that's the obvious one - especially if the rumours of their interest in him when Kompany left.

He wanted out of here by the end too, our guard weren't exactly enamoured with him. I'm a massive fan of his and I do t think people truly understand how good a job he did here in reality.

No I'd not take him back, but I still want Mason replaced.

Nah I'd take him back.

The "never go back" attitude is flawed because it's usually people who return years and years later once their career is on the slide, and consequently they don't do as well as the first time around.

Just seen a couple of never go backs in the wild, citing Mowbray as an example of this. It conveniently ignores the fact that he's not one of the league's top managers like he was 16 years ago. I wish people would be more critical, rather than saying cliches.

Mowbray took the handbrake off and look where that left us!

I could stomach Corberan's style whilst he was winning, but once it was draws and losses it be ane a bloody chore and half.
