Not sure he'd be rushing back. I get the feeling Nestor didn't like him and pretty sure the feeling was mutual in the end given the rumours about CC trying to find another club before Valencia came calling.

I’d fucking love Carlos to return but the current powers that be worryingly weren’t sold on him last time round.

He's definitely started to come under fire from the fans particularly in the immediate aftermath of games, their away form is awful. Generally though there are far more calling for Peter Lim to sell up/blaming the owner. Think he's got some credit in the bank from last season and given their perilous position is probably the best available to get them out of it (again). Don't expect to see him move on this season.

Regards his next role, I see no chance of him returning to the Championship with us or any other side. He's done that now, and is the next level up imo.
