Clap for NHS they never intervened either with many people congregating in London for the applause.  Obviously didn’t want negative press for breaking this up.

But anti lock down protests and a women’s vigil they play the hard ball.

And let’s not forget the police who had a barber come into their station to cut around 20 police officers hair and the 8 police officers who sat inside a cafe to eat their purchases.

I have no time for them and certainly no respect.

And let’s not forget Derbyshire police force flying drones to take photos of people out walking which they have to the press.  And the two women they gave the penalty notice to for walking with a coffee as they said “that was a picnic”.  Utter bellends.

And lets not forget the utter tosser who drove up behind me, blue lights flashing and pulled me over for `driving without a seat belt`. I was driving a Renault van with no rear window, so he couldn`t see if I had a seat belt on or not. When I pointed this out, and that I had had to take my seat belt off to get out of the van, he alleged that I was driving without wearing it, saw him in my mirror and took my hands off the wheel to put it on, and if I wanted to argue, he would take me down the nick for dangerous driving . Concerned that while there, I might accidentally fall down the stairs, I muttered an apology and accepted a telling off. An old mate who was a solicitor advised me not to make a complaint, as the Police would then hound me if I did.
One consolation, the copper concerned was on the front of the paper a couple of weeks later having pulled someone else over, who got annoyed and drove off, dragging the copper along the road. He suffered a broken ankle, broken wrist and a dislocated shoulder apparently.

Now it’s sad and totally wrong what happened to her and have no sympathy for her killers, but the police are now copping out for being heavy handed against the people who wrongly turned up in this Pandemic breaking the rules. If the people who turned up had stayed home like they should have done, the police would not have had to waste there time policing something that should not have occurred. When are people going to realise there is a pandemic on and hundreds and thousands still break the law. If they just had styed away and did what millions of good citizens are doing there would be none of this outrage. In normal circumstances I would have been one of the first to place flowers or join in a vigil but there is nothing normal about the last 12 months. Sorry this is just my opinion but I do think our police do a good .

Common sense.

I could cite a few examples of the police demonstrating total idiocy over the last 4 decades. From actual experiences, not glib anecdotes.

They never cease to disappoint me.

Like when two pinned me to a wall with my arms behind my back and said “you better shut your mouth or we’ll nick you for nothing”.   Nowt like a corrupt copper

All I did was look one up and down twice, slowly, and ask “are you tall enough to be a policeman?” Big Grin

Imagine what they would have done if you had said` Hey mate, does your head reach the top of that hat?`

I am no huge fan of them at times but I still don't see that they did anything wrong last Saturday. It also irritates me that Labour MPs are hooting and screeching about the Police enforcing the lockdown laws they voted for, when they wanted harder, earlier and longer lockdown rules applied. You can't give opt-outs of the law for people you like, or whose message you agree with.

Assume the bloke in charge (Sadiq Khan) is passing the buck? He's one slippery fugger.

Cressida Dick is accountable to the Home Office, not the Mayor of London.

No, she is accountable to the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime. https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/may...er-meeting
