What sort of record do we have with managers coming back? I can think of Ronnie Allen, Johnny Giles, Big Ron, Tony Mowbray, Meggo (sort of).

I loved Carlos, but I don't think I'd have him back.

I refuse to believe we can't find a decent alternative out there capable of coaching and improving the players we've got. Boro managed it at pretty short notice when Edwards left.

I would drive to Valencia to pick him up myself.

He’d have to suffer though

Don’t think our owners were on the same page as Corberan that’s why he wanted out. Don’t think he would come back and I don’t want him back he was trying to leave before Valencia came calling.
Did well for us but nothing exceptional.

I wasn't a massive fan of his at the time, however looking back it does seem he did a really good job with what he had, so would welcome him back.

However, it's a bit of a moot point. He won't want to come back as he could get a bigger job than us now.

Absolutely top notch coach and tactician. You only need to look at what his predecessor and successors did to see that.

However, I am not sure he would return or his heart would be in it and I think he is too good for us.

He won't come back and I'm not sure the owners would want him back either. If you're not with us then you're against us, he wasn't with us for several months before he actually left.

I wasn't sad when he left as he'd been looking for an out for a while. Good coach yes, he needs to develop an attacking element to his game, but regardless that's no use if they don't want to be at the club.

It worked for both parties at the time, that time has moved on.

Any of the bottom end PL should have his number on Speed dial alongside Dwight Gayle's! He'd be an ideal replacement for Marco Silva as he seems to be wavering about committing to Fulham. To me, that's his level in the game right now.

He will have no problems whatsoever getting another job. I agree that bottom end of the PL is where he might look. Could go to Burnley when they sack Parker.
