So Chagos is back on the agenda...
#21
Trump has waded back into the Chagos deal months after Rubio gave it the green light, saying the US welcomes the agreement.

Trump posted (among other things): “The UK giving away extremely important land is an act of GREAT STUPIDITY, and is another in a very long line of National Security reasons why Greenland has to be acquired.”

I don't know about us waking up every day wondering what he's done today, I bet even his own people dread what each day will bring. He's chaotic

One way or another I can’t see him lasting the term. He’s psychotic.

He will. Have you seen the way people kiss his arse for fear of falling foul of him? Don’t expect any open and transparent elections either, when it’s time for him to leave.

I have. But he overestimates just how much bending over he can do at once. Only time will tell.

He's already started banging on about "rigged elections" again, just laying the ground ahead of the mid-terms later this year. It wouldn't be a colossal shock if certain states had their elections heavily suppressed in the name of stopping fraud.

The perceived wisdom is that ICE goons will be sent in to more and more cities with the sole intention of trying to stir up trouble (shooting innocent people in the process with no consequences of course) and then Trump will impose the Insurrection Act nationally to either prevent the mid-term elections altogether or somehow steer them in the direction he needs them to go. Also, I'm sure he has no intention of there being a presidential election at all in 2028. Remember his "just give me your vote this time and you'll never have to do it again" comment (paraphrased) during the 2024 campaign
