England Wenches
Well done England.

Never trust the odd blokes who seem to revel in criticising the women’s game.

Observations: It is possible not to wrestle the opposition to the floor in a grapple war at corners, as evidenced by this tournament.

Probably inevitable, but a shame to see the dark cheaty arts employed as blatantly as they have been by Italy are now in the women's game. Multiple cramps? Bollocks.

Best team won though, for me.

Has anyone checked on ericle?

Spectacular result - how to prevail against more technically gifted opposition.

Really chuffed and the Bear hotel went mad for the win - memorable, exceptional stuff.

Although second best in open play over the 120 minutes, they stuck through it and held their nerve better when it came to the intense pressure. If all players took penalties like Chloe Kelly's (and they should be capable of doing so), none would ever be saved.

Many congratulations on a second successive Euros title. Immense.

And at least now we won't have to suffer some Spanish dyke getting upset because an old man gives her a kiss.

He was convicted of sexual assault.

I mean... she missed one in the semi? Big Grin

Fantastic achievement by the Lionesses, they battled their way back into the game, kept Spain at bay and held their nerve at the end to win back to back Euros. Incredibly impressive.

A shame some sexist pigs have to out themselves on this thread. Derek is normally a divisive figure on here, but he absolutely nailed it with the below:

Second best in the first half for sure, but they matched them the rest of the match and the scoreline reflect this.

Really enjoyed it. Especially second half onwards.

We played out of a really good shape, got more control of the game and I thought we were really good value for the equaliser in the end.

Weigmann does get most things right in terms of her game management.

Can’t recall Hannah Hampton getting anything wrong all tournament. Incredibly consistent in getting the basics right and some very decent distribution too

I thought she was the stand out. The difference between winning and losing. IMO.
