Indeed.

Definitely a weakness in his game at the moment. Prem clubs expect their wingers and wide forwards to score goals often, and he just doesn't, whether that's the team he's in right now or an inability to do so on his behalf, to make it as high as the rest of his technique and ability shows, he needs to work on scoring goals, he should be on 5 or 6 by now.

It’s a team weakness to be fair, our shooting in general is pretty poor. So many chances are miles off target. Fellows, Mowatt, Grant all guilty yesterday and MJ hit one that didn’t even go out for a throw in!

Spot on. Our shooting isn't the same quality as most of the rest of our play.  As for volleying, as soon as they shape to hit it you just know someone at the back of stand is gonna get a red earhole. Just stop!

It's not about the positions though, we have players missing from near point blank range.

Not point blank, but I get your drift. 

And yes whilst we do have high quality chances being missed. So does everybody else. 

It's more frustrating when you're not creating enough good quality chances to score more goals more generally.

Lurker - interested to know in the first 6 or 7 games when we were flying, was it that we were just taking more of our chances or were we creating more than for the rest of the season? Has our xg dropped off a lot from those first few games?
