We are at such a delicate crossroads. I hope it works.

Fwiw. The interview on YouTube was a joy and I hope he still has the drive and passion for the battle, Nd he can put together a really important and well rounded coaching team.

Come on Tomo!!!!!

Even if he wasn’t our boss, I’d have enjoyed that. Interesting to hear about his time here, really doesn’t feel like it was too long ago.

I’ve been through similar with cancer and once you get the all clear, you really do feel like you have that 2nd chance in life and see everything differently.

I’m like most fans ,really excited and probably getting carried away by the nostalgia of the past.I admit that Mowbray wouldn’t have been my choice but I see lots of plus points as well as negatives.
On the plus side Mowbray is very much an improver of players and with the new owners wanting a younger and fresher team this will fit in well with Mowbray.I am also confident that players will want to come to us and Premier League clubs would see us as a Club where they loan good young players to us knowing with Tony’s reputation that they are in good hands.I’m not sure that we could say that happened under Corberan. The general feeling is that whatever happens is that Mowbray leaves you with a better squad than what you started with.
My worry is obviously that he has come back from serious illness and if it is too early for him. Also over the years that have passed I’ve looked at Mowbray as more of a developer of players than a results manager. At the end of the day unfortunately you get judged on consistency of winning enough games and my opinion is that a Mowbray team always gives the opposition chances. If that happens every game you will not get enough wins and as everyone knows fans are fickle, yes it’s ok now and the messiah has returned but just wait for the first two defeats and the overreaction.

I think you said the other day that it would be disastrous appointing Mowbray. Give it a couple more days and you’ll be as ecstatic as Ronnie  Smile

Watched the rest of this interview, worth watching even thought it drags on.

Feel like he is dropping hints about becoming our DoF in the future there.

Interesting. I can see the appeal of that at his age and with that commute.

After I watched I got the impression he’ll never go down that route as the finance side of things is not something he wants to go near. He’s a man who wants to get the best out of other men and being head coach or manager is the way for him to do that

I've just stumbled across an interesting stat - the number of points (32) we got under Mogga in 2008-09 is more than we achieved on the 4 other occasions that we've been relegated from the top flight during the Premier League era.
