Injured again, how come we haven't let him go. Useless

Very typical of the wrong kind of signing. Probably a decent pro, good trainer etc but has offered absolutely nothing on the pitch. Just meh for £ks a week. A signing to bring on stagnation.

Probably because he's under contract and no one else wants him.

Agreed. Just compare the signings we were making under Mowbray and RDM

Whilst I agree he's not a world beater and is paid too much, I think there's a player in there. Last season, I often kept a close eye on his off the ball play. Time and time again he made intelligent forward runs into space, only for our defenders and sometimes midfielders to either ignore his move or were not confident or good enough make the pass. Instead, we passed sideways or even backwards and the chance was gone. This will be unpopular to say but the worst culprit was O'shea followed by Furlong.

Because of that magical thing called ‘a contract’!

He gets some unfair grief but he’s on a fortune and really was a shite signing. For that sort of money we need a quality starter.

Read CC's comments. They gambled on not doing surgery, knowing it was a risk. Who makes these decisions? Jason Roberts' toe all over again.

We haven't been good at avoiding or managing injuries recently. This is something the club needs to look at.
