Exactly, didn’t think what I was saying was that hard to grasp...

Southgate will know more about Ramsdale via the U21s than he will of Johnstone this season.

Bull with all matches on tv he will know all about Sam Johnstone that’s not hard to grasp.

I hate to disappoint you, but I’m not sure the England manager spends that much time watching West Brom.

We may have conceded 60 but it would have been 80+ if he’d not been this good! He’s certainly been well tested...

You don't think that there's someone in the England set up aware of the form of the various goalkeepers? Johnstone has made more saves than anyone in Europe in the top leagues. You don't think that the England national team setup would have this information available to them?

Jermaine Jenas knows Sam Johnstone is in good form. Im sure that someone in the England set up is aware of this

I’d be shocked if there wasn’t a file on him, and if you read my first post you notice I don’t actually agree with my own assessment. I think he does deserve a call.

I just think Ramsdale’s status as the U21 keeper will give him the edge.

Do you think the England squad is compiled from Southgate's views watching games?

Ramsdale is shite.

I guess we'll find out. If it's about loyalty then it'll be Ramsdale as Duffman said, if it has anything to do with ability then it'll be Johnstone.

When Southgate was England U21s manager he didn’t select Johnstone despite him playing consistently for all England youth groups.

He’s not getting a call up, regardless of how much better than Ramsdale he has been this season.

Even Lineker is backing Sam saying he is close to England call on this seasons form.
