Blues made terrible decisions in their relegation year and their owners looked incompetent, but they recovered. Let's face it, what's more arrogant / naive than employing Rooney?
There's no reason we can't do the same. We've tried to get clever to work around PSR but it hasn't worked, once the shackles are relaxed, the owners may be able to work to a more orthodox system and level the ship.
I'm not convinced that Patel and co. see relegation as the spectre that some do. Personally, I'm in the whatever will be, will be, camp, if we go down so be it, I'll still wear me lucky pants every Saturday and cheer / boo (delete as appropriate) same as I would in the greed league.
