It's a totally self indulgent pointless article, that is big on psychodrama and short of any reference to actual football.
The reason why we are where we are lie mainly on the football pitch.
At the start of the season I felt there was very little prospect of reaching the play offs and none of getting automatic promotion.
Why, because this squad wouldn't score enough goals and the central midfield did not have enough quality.
It's worse than that forecast, because of injuries, particularly in central mid.field, but other injuries haven't helped..
But the main reason why we are where we are is extraordinarily erratic defending. I can't even begin to describe how strange we have been at the back, there are halves of football where we have been abysmal, think Southampton away or Norwich at home..There have been occasions when we have defended wee throughout the game restricting the opposition to hardly any chances and then contrived to let in a goal which costs us a positive result, think Charlton away, Hull away , Swansea away, Derby away and Leicester at home. That's 7 points we should have had, but threw away..
Not sure what the solution is, other than getting the players we have to cut out these errors, and learn how to shoot properly (we're abysmal at shooting). And if they can't improve, we will need to replace them with ones who can.
